Thursday, 26th May 2016,03:40 PM IST Boman Irani who had signed a Pakistani production film, to be directed by Azaan Sami Khan and produced by actress Zeba Bakhtiar, has backed out from the film to show support for Director Kabir Khan. It was an incident that happened in Pakistan last month. The director was caught by protestors at Karachi’s Airport and Anti-National slogans were shouted at him. Protesters demanded to know why he has not made any movies revolving around RAW’s actions against Pakistan. In a recent interview, Pakistani director, Azaan said, “Boman liked the film but couldn’t do it because of date issues. The Kabir Khan incident was a one-off incident, sensationalised by the media from both sides of the border. Our film industries have always had respect for each other and Indian stars are much loved in Pakistan. But I understand that this kind of situation would scare people. No artiste would like to be screamed at by anybody.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
