Shekhar Kapur Wants To See MR. INDIA Sequel

Tuesday, 22nd August 2017, 06:00 PM IST Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, whose evergreen film ‘Mr. India’ has always been loved by the masses, says he would love to see a sequel, directed by any other filmmaker with a fresh perspective. ‘Mr. India’ still remains the movie which is iconic and an all-time favourite till date. Shekhar says, "I think somebody will make it... Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor have been talking about it, and I think there should be a new director who takes a new perspective." He knows many expect him to make the sequel, but said: "You can't copy a film, and I have also moved on in life. Though I would love to see one (a sequel)." Also known for film like ‘Bandit Queen’, Shekhar is currently busy with ‘Little Dragon’, a movie based on martial arts expert Bruce Lee's growing up years. He also said that his big dream is to make a film series on Lord Krishna.
