Aamir Khan, who is known to be choosy with his film choices and the roles he essays on the silver screen. The actor has delivered some classic hits like Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai, 3 Idiots, Dangal, and many more! The actor’s last film Thugs Of Hindustan did not meet its expectations at the box office but the actor did not let one set back affect his determination to play diverse and experimental roles on screen. He would soon be seen in Lal Singh Chaddha. The film is the official remake of 1994 classic Forrest Gump. Some days ago we got to know that Aamir Khan will be shedding 20 kilos to suffice the demand of his character. Well, the actor, therefore, is known as a perfectionist in the industry. Apart from this, there are also speculations about Vijay Sethupati, the South star, to join the cast of Lal Singh Chaddha. If this happens to be true, this will be Vijay’s debut movie in Bollywood wherein he will be collaborating with one of the Khans. Vijay Sethupati recently won the best actor award for his stellar performance in Tamil hit Super Deluxe at the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne. Though the news is yet to be confirmed as Vijay has refused to give any details related to the same. Reports say that if this collaboration happens, Vijay will be seen playing the role of Aamir’s close friend in Lal Singh Chaddha and will have an important role. Lal Singh Chaddha is being made by Viacom18 and Aamir Khan Productions. The film is all set to release next Christmas and would be directed by Advait Chandan and is written by Atul Kulkarni. The film would be starring Kareena Kapoor opposite Aamir after 7 whole years. Forrest Gump, starring the Academy Awards winner Tom Hanks, is a 1994 American comedy-drama film. The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump (Hanks), a slow-witted but kind-hearted man from Alabama who witnesses and unwittingly influences several defining historical events in the 20th century in the United States, directed by Robert Zemeckis. |
