Sunday, 8th June 04:00 PM IST Kabir Sadanand will be in Leh on June 8 for a special screening of his next directorial venture 'Fugly' for our Army jawans. This is the first time a Hindi film will premiere in Leh before its release, which is scheduled for June 13. This unusual development follows a request from the Army, asking for a screening for their jawans in Leh. There is an elaborate itinerary planned for the event, which includes an introduction by the Commander in Chief of Siachen, an interactive session between the director and over 200 jawans, followed by the screening itself and a cocktails after the screening. Speaking on this one-of-a-kind screening, Sadanand, director of 'Fugly', says, “The invitation said our music was doing a lot for the morale of the soldiers and bringing a smile to their faces. It made me extremely happy. They requested to be the first to watch the film and it gives me immense pride to be able to fulfill this request.” |
