HAIDER Scores in 2nd Week Crosses 54.50 Cr Nett

This was unarguably the biggest clash at box office of 2014. Two films, of diverse genre and for different target audience, were clashing at box office. ''Haider'' was underdog as everyone is expecting Hrithik starrer ''Bang Bang'' to bulldoze its not so fancy rival but on contrary its holding well even in 2nd week. 

''Haider'' released across 1250-1300 screens in India last Thursday and despite competition film managed to collect close to 41 cr nett in week one which was very good total. Film was good in Pune, Mysore, Gurgaon and other urban centers.

Film is now running in close to 900 screens in 2nd week which means there is not much reduction due to poor competition in 2nd week from new releases. Film started well today on 2nd Friday but was affected by Karva Chauth festivities at few places. That is why film collected 1.83 cr nett on 2nd Friday which was low.

But then film jumped on 2nd Saturday and film collected 3.24 cr nett. Film grew by 60% plus from previous day and that means there is positive word of mouth. Film again grew by 15% on Sunday and collected 3.79 cr nett. Film dropped on Monday by 25% in comparison to 2nd Friday which is decent trending. Film collected 1.17 cr nett on Monday. Film collected 1.26 cr nett on Tuesday which was growth over Monday followed by 1.18 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.10 cr nett on Thursday.

Film has collected 54.57 cr nett in 15 days. Film collected 13 cr nett in 2nd week. Filmlooks good for 58 - 60 cr nett lifetime.
