BANG BANG Had Average 2nd Monday

It was unarguably the biggest clash at box office of 2014. Two films, of diverse genre and for different target audience, are clashing at box office. It was expected that Hrithik - Katrina starrer ''Bang Bang'' will take a thunderous opening and exactly that is what happened but film failed to meet the expectations and continues to drop.

Film released in 3350 screens all over India and it did lose some key screens to ''Haider'' in Delhi and Mumbai. Clash has taken away the sheen out of such a huge opening because despite such a response, film failed able to beat any day one record. Film collected huge 135.45 cr nett in week one but collections were not upto the mark considering 5 back to back holidays.

Film retained sufficient number of screens in 2nd week and poor show of new releases gave it a good chance. But film dropped drastically yesterday and collected 4.90 cr nett. Film jumped by only 20% on Saturday and collected 6.30 cr nett. Film grew by 28% on Sunday and collected 8.03 cr nett. Film dropped by 40% on Monday in comparison to 2nd Friday. Film added 3.61 cr nett on 2nd Monday. Film collected 3.49 cr nett on Tuesday, 3.41 cr nett on Wednesday and 2.73 cr nett on Thursday.

Film has collected 167.92 cr nett in 15 days. Film will finish with lower numbers than lifetime total of Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Krrish 3' of 192 cr nett. Film was saved by to an extent due to powerhouse show in overseas which was due to extensive release by Fox Star. Film has collected 11.8 million $ (75 cr) in 15 days .
