SANAM TERI KASAM Failed After Week One

Two diverse films ''Ghayal Once Again'' and ''Sanam Teri Kasam'' released. Last three weeks have seen clash but except ''Airlift'' almost all films under performed. ''Sanam Teri Kasam'' is sort of film which looks 20 years too late.

''''Sanam Teri Kasam'''' was never expected to score especially with such cast and clash. But still film has managed some kind of numbers and it collected 1.25 nett nett on day one followed by 1.51 cr nett on day two which was slim growth. Again on its third day, the movie managed to earn a meager 1.90 cr. After 4.66 cr nett weekend, film collected 1.25 cr nett on Monday which was not a big drop as film was coming from low levels itself. Film added 1.15 cr nett, 1.10 cr nett and 1 cr nett from Tuesday to Thursday. Though this is better than what such films collect it is still losing battle from here onwards as makers will lose almost half of investment after Eros will pocket commission.

Film has week one total of 9.16 cr nett. Going by this trend, a 10-10.50 cr nett lifetime is on the cards. With 4.50 cr nett share and maximum 3 cr from other sources, film will cover in tune of 7 cr and producers will lose in tune of 4-5 cr. Flop!
