SHIVAAY Had Average 1st Weekend Diwali releases proved to be underperformer for last few years. This year clash has received unnecessary media hype and result was on expected lines. ''Shivaay'' was never expected to take flying start with Ajay Devgn as solo face in the film. Trade and few section of media went berserk but audience proved them wrong on day one and two. Film never took off in multiplexes and though mass centers were better but those were too not great. Film opened to 30% occupancy and never saw drastic jump. Film managed 10.24 cr nett on day one followed by 10.06 cr nett on Saturday which was strictly average. Film dropped due to Diwali puja and collected 8.26 cr nett. Though word of mouth does not suggest that. Film has 1st weekend total of 28.56 cr nett and now today is all important day for the film to make big numbers. Below are the collection for the film -
