KAHAANI 2 Had Average Weekend 

'Kahaani' was sleeper hit four years back and now sequel gas arrived but this time in middle of lot of expectations. But film managed only average growth over weekend. 

Film released in 1250 screens and had sort of competition from 'Dear Zindagi'. Film opened to 20% occupancy but grew from evening onwards. Film managed average 4.25 cr nett on day one. Film grew by 35% on Saturday with 5.79 cr nett figure. Film collected 6.90 cr nett on Sunday which was again slim growth. 

Film has 1st weekend total of 16.94 cr nett which means now it needs super solid weekdays in order to cross minimum 35 cr nett weekend. Film looks to finish around 40 cr nett lifetime which will be far less than prequel. After 'Tum Bin' and 'Force' looks like another below par sequel!
