Friday, 4th November 11:20 AM IST SHIVAAY Collects Under 70 Cr Nett In 1st Week Diwali releases proved to be underperformer for last few years. This year clash has received unnecessary media hype and result was on expected lines. 'Shivaay' was never expected to take flying start with Ajay Devgn as solo face in the film. Trade and few section of media went berserk but audience proved them wrong on day one and two. Film never took off in multiplexes and though mass centers were better but those were too not great. Film opened to 30% occupancy and never saw drastic jump. Film managed 10.24 cr nett on day one followed by 10.06 cr nett on Saturday which was strictly average. Film dropped due to Diwali puja and collected 8.26 cr nett. As expected, film took big strides on Monday due to full holiday and collected 17.35 cr nett with 70% jump. Film had solid Tuesday of 11.05 cr nett aided by holiday. Film was steady on Wednesday with 6.40 cr nett and 6.05 cr nett on Thursday. Though word of mouth does not suggest that. Film has 1st week total of 70.41 cr nett and now it is important for the film to make big numbers today too. Below are the collection for the film -
