Business Rating:
2/5
Verdict:
Watch it if you enjoy poor performances
Detailed Analysis:
Anubhav Sinha has given some decent and some plordinary films. He is back after five years with sequelocal of moderately successful film.
First part was a romantic drama with amazing performances and an excellent plot. It brings another love triangle centering around Shekhar and Aman played by Aashim Gulati and Aditya Seal. Old friendship, newfound love, and a difficult decision.
Film has poor screenplay. It has no life in 1st half and in middle of 2nd half it becomes over dramatic and stretched. Film has heavy dialogues throughout and few are unintentional funny too.
Performance wise everyone is plastic. Neha Sharma looks clueless, Aditya Seal falls short in emotional scene and Aashim Gulati looks more of a model than actor. Kanwaljit Singh is average. Mouni Roy shines in item number.
Music is big letdown. Film has good cinematography and apt costume. Editing is uneven as few scenes are stretched. Art design is authentic. Story is predictable and screenplay gets messed up at places. Dialogues are average and at times it gones overboard.
Director Anubhav Sinha has made a boring film and he loses the grip towards the end. Also over use of drama and intensity at places work against the film.
Film will release today and it will find tough to score at box office. Film will suffer due to ongoing demonetization issue.
Go watch it if you can watch any boring romantic film!
