Goan pop singer Remo Fernandes will be seen in a significant role in Mohit Suri's upcoming directorial venture ‘The Villain’, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.

Fernandes  will play the character of Sidharth Malhotra's boss in the film, which is currently being shot in the former's home town Goa. The makers felt that he was the perfect choice to play the character, which has shades of grey.

The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and also has Riteish Deshmukh and Kamaal R. Khan in key roles.
