Riteish Deshmukh To Up The Marathi Flavour In Dream Girl

It was just a day ago when we passed on to you the news that Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha will be recreating the famous Marathi song, Dhagala Lagli Kala in their upcoming movie Dream Girl. Well, the news just doesn’t end here, there is an additional member who will be making us love this recreated version more. It's none other than, the Marathi Mulga of Bollywood, Riteish Deshmukh. Yes, Ritiesh is all set to groove and make our eyes happy with his moves and expressions in this song from the movie Dream Girl. On the request of the director, Raaj Shaandilyaa, Riteish came on board to be a part of the song. Riteish said that the song is an all-time favorite dance number. The original featured Dada Kondke which itself was a motivation for him. He said that both Ayushmann and Nushrat are fantastic actors and dancers. It was a fun experience for him to be a part of the song. The song will be composed by Meet Bros and it has been penned by Kumaar and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. The recreated version will have a dash of live guitars and electronic programs which will make the song even more dynamic. While giving insights about the music track, Raaj (director of Dream Girl) shared: “This song has a different vibe and it’s got amazing Marathi parts, which has a rap-like melody that we have sung ourselves. It has got amazing catchy Marathi beats and we have also added some live guitars as well as electronic programs around it. It has ‘let’s dance’ written all over it. And I think this will be the biggest welcome for Ganesh Chaturthi in terms of music.” Dream Girl, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee and Raj Bhansali, is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.
