Tuesday, 5th May 2015, 2:50 PM IST Music composers: Ikka, Arko, Intense, Amjad Nadeem, Dharam, Sandeep, Ali Quli Mirza, King Lyricists: Ikka, Arko, Sameer Anjaan, Sanjeev Chaturvedi, Himank Kalal, Mani Soni, Amjad Nadeem In this hot summer, Sunny Leone is all set to make the temperatures soar with her sexy avatar in ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’. The movie which is directed by Devang Dholakia also stars Ram Kapoor, Navdeep Chhabra and Evelyn Sharma. As it’s a Sunny Leone flick, we expect some really good music like her previous movies; so let’s see what’s there in store for us. The first track in the album is ‘Pani Wala Dance’, a perfect Sunny Leone number. The song is foot-tapping number and is on the lines of ‘Baby Doll’ and ‘Desi Look’. However, this track is a bit different because of its high-on energy beats. Ikka and Arko Pravo Mukherjee have done good job with the music and the vocals of Ikka and Shraddha Pandit are impressive. Ratings: 3.5/5 Next comes in ‘Daaru Peeke Dance’ once again a foot-tapping number. Music director Amjad Nadeem has tried to make a fusion of masala number with classy beats in it and he succeeds. Neha Kakkar’s voice is just perfect for the song and gels well with it. Aishwarya Nigam fails to impress us with his voice. This track can be regarded as the new Bollywood party number. Ratings: 3.5/5 ‘Aao Na’, the next song in the album is the revised version of the track ‘Jaane Do Naa’ from the film ‘Saagar’ starring Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. The original track was composed by RD Burman and the revised version is composed by Arko, and the latter very well converts the seductive number for today’s generation. Ankit Tiwari and Shraddha Pandit successfully recreate the magic Asha Bhosle and Shailendra Singh with their voices. Ratings: 3.5/5 Moving forward we get the track titled ‘Na Jaane Kya Hai Tumse Wasta’, a romantic track with rock music it. After three very good songs, this track really disappoints. It seems to be outdated. Amjad Nadeem fails with this romantic song. Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur’s voices are irritating. The only good thing about this song is the lyrics which is very well written by Sanjeev Chaturvedi. Ratings: 1/5 The next song in the album is the title track ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’. A peppy number composed by Dharam-Sandeep. It’s an entertaining song which explains the scenario of the movie very well. The voices of Divya Kumar and Shraddha Pandit are quite good in the track. Ratings: 3/5 Next comes in once again a romantic number titled ‘Ishq Da Maara’. The song is composed by Amjad Nadeem and is a bit better than his previous romantic number ‘Na Jaane Kya Hai Tumse Wasta’. However, this one too is not a great number; it is strictly average. We think that Amjad Nadeem should stick to foot-tapping number like ‘Daaru Peeke Dance’ and should not experiment with romantic songs. Jubin Nautiyal’s voice irritates in the track. Ratings: 2/5 And the last track in the album is ‘Yeh Ishq’ composed by Ali Quli Mirza (‘Bigg Boss’ fame) and King. It’s a romantic track with a twist. The lyrics are romantic and it has a rock beats in it. This track is entertaining and Ali Quli Mirza has sung the track superbly well. You will surely enjoy yourself while listening to this one. Ratings: 3.5/5 On the whole, the music of ‘KKLH’ is entertaining, but the romantic tracks are a bit disappointing in this entertaining album. Ratings: 3/5 Music Review By –
