Thursday, 7th May 2015, 4:33 PM IST Yesterday, Salman Khan was convicted in the hit-and-run case and was sentenced for five years. The superstar is currently out on interim bail for two days. His first cousin, Mateen Khan, says that it’s a bad time for the family. Mateen said, "There is nothing much to say. This is a bad time for the family. We just have to accept the fate that Allah brings to us. It is a decision by the court, so we have to respect it. However, we ask the Almighty to do his best for Salman". "I had a chat with Salman a few days back. He told me that this time it was going to be very difficult dealing with the case. Even back then, he had sensed that a bad decision will come. But then, we all believe in the power of the Almighty, and we cannot alter his decisions," he added. Salman’s childhood friend Chetan Barot said, “It is difficult to express the emotions I feel right now. However, the two-day interim bail comes as a relief. I wish him a better verdict when they appeal in a higher court.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
