Director Vikas Bahl has expressed his desire to cast Alia Bhatt opposite Shahid Kapoor for his next film titled 'Shaandar'.

Although the filmmaker did not divulge any details, he said, “We have finalised Shahid .I would like to have Alia in the film, but we are still working on the script.So it’s too early to talk about it.”

Even the actress neither confirmed nor denied it. “I prefer not to talk about anything right now. Whenever it has to come out it will,” said Alia.

The film is slated to go on the floor in August this year.
