Monday, 15th Sept 2014, 3:36 PM IST Tamannaah Bhatia, a very well known face in South film industry, made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Himmatwala’. The actress was seen in two back-to-back comedy films - ‘Humshakals’ and ‘Entertainment’ - this year. But, now she has no Bollywood films in her kitty and has turned her way down south again. She has bagged three big films in South, namely… Telugu film ‘Aagadu’ opposite Mahesh Babu; bilingual film (in Tamil and Telugu) ‘Baahubali’,which is said to be the costliest film till date in South; and an untitled film with Arya. When it comes to Bollywood films, Tamannaah doesn't want to do the repetitive kind of films and roles. The actress says, “As an actor I would definitely like to do something different and not repeat myself. If I do not get any satisfaction then what's the point? I won't be seen in the same genre where I have already done any particular kind of roles." She also doesn't want to be just an eye candy and wants to do meaty roles. Talking about it she said, “That's where the media comes into play. I am quite sure that there must be somebody out there reading this piece and looking out for someone who can bring on a credible act on screen." |
