Wednesday, 18th Sept2014, 4:40 PM IST Emraan Hashmi has made a mark in Bollywood with Bhatt camp films, but since the past 2 years he has not worked in any Bhatt film, and all his films have proved to be a failure at the box-office. His recently released flick ‘Raja Natwarlal’ also failed to make a mark at box-office. However, Emraan’s uncle Mahesh Bhatt favors him and blames it on the director of the film, Kunal Deshmukh. Said Bhatt, “Emraan has raised his hand and admitted that the film has failed. How many actors do that? But its failure lies with Kunal. However, he too should not be written off." Talking about Emraan, he also said, “There is darkness now,but there will be light tomorrow. Can you stop the sunrise after the sunset?" Mahesh further revealed that the failure of ‘Raja Natwarlal’ did make Emraan feel low. He said, "The film's box office response did dampen Emraan's spirits." Emraan will be next seen in ‘Mr. X’ and ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’, which will be made under Bhatt’s production. When Mahesh was asked if there will be any changes in the script to guarantee a hit for Emraan, he said, "No, I am always confident of what we put on floors. I am sure that brand Emraan will be back. Don't you write his obituary yet." |
