PK In One More Legal Issue

And now, after around a month of its release one more legal issue against the film has arisen. Delhi High Court has sent a legal notice to the makers of the film – director Rajkumar Hirani, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and writer Abhijat Joshi for plagiarism. Novelist Kapil Isapuri has filed a petition which claims that the makers of ‘PK’ have copied certain, ideas, scenes and characters of the film from his book 'Farishta'. The petition states that the makers have smartly used his ideas with minor changes. He has claimed Rs. 1 crore as disciplinary damage.
