Tuesday, 16th Sept 2014, 3:25 PM IST Jackky Bhagnani made his Bollywood debut in the year 2009 with the film ‘Kal Kissne Dekha’. The actor tasted success with the film ‘F.A.L.T.U’ and was well appreciated for his powerful role in the film ‘Rangrezz’ (2013). His latest film ‘Youngistaan’ (2014), which is a romantic film set against the backdrop of politics, got positive reviews from audiences as well as critics. No wonder, Jackky was invited to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for the inauguration of India Pavilion. What’s more, ‘Youngistaan’ is also a contender for India’s official entry to Oscars this year. Recently, Jackky replaced a senior actor like Irrfan Khan in the film ‘Welcome to Karachi’. When Irrfan opted out of the film, the director of the movie, Ashish R. Mohan, opted for Jackky. Well, it certainly seems like the 29-year-old actor has proven his mettle, and his career is on an upswing. |
