Wednesday, 10th September 2014, 06:50 PM IST A change in the release dates of two of Bollywood’s upcoming films, Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Action Jackson’ and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Happy Ending’, has resulted in rearrangement of the release dates of other Bollywood films.
Ajay’s film was earlier supposed to release on November 7 this year but now it has been pushed ahead and will release on December 5. And Saif’s ‘Happy Ending’ has been preponed to November 21 from November 28th. This has led to many changes at the box office releases.
Akshay Kumar’s ‘The Shaukeens’ has shifted from November 21 to November 7, giving it a solo run for the whole week. It will enjoy a monopoly as it releases a fortnight after superstar Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’, which opens on October 24.
‘Action Jackson’ will clash with Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘All Is Well’ on December 5. Both films get an open fortnight so that may work out well for them. However, Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Ungli’ may poke them as it is also now slated for a December 5 release. And considering the mass fan following that Emraan enjoys, it may spell trouble for the other two films. The next big release would be superstar Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ on December 19. It would also get a three week solo run as the next films Boney Kapoor’s ‘Tevar’ and Bipasha Basu’s ‘Alone’will only release in January 2015. |
