Monday, 17th Aug 2015, 3:45 PM IST Tabu, who is riding high with the success of ‘Drishyam’, has some interesting films like ‘Talvar’, ‘Missing’ and ‘Fitoor’ in her kitty. And the talented actress is now all set to croon for Mukul Abhyankar's ‘Missing’. She will be singing a lullaby in the film to put her onscreen daughter to sleep. A source close to the project reveals that the song is an important part of the story. Titled as ‘Soja re’, it is composed by MM Keeravani and the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir. Talking about it, the director said, "She sings really well, understands music and verse. By using her voice we've made the scene look authentic." "Tabu picked up the song in one night. She rehearsed the evening before the shoot, and we took another day for the dubbing. She sang two antaras but we have retained only one in the film," he added. Mukul further stated that Tabu is critical about her own performance and sang the song again and again, till both, the composer and she were satisfied. "Both Kreem sir and she share a great rapport. He gave us some wonderful tips on how to picturise the song. Tabu would sit like an obedient child in front of Kreem sir with the harmonium, a notebook and a pen in hand," he said.
