Tuesday, 7th June 2016, 01:00 PM IST ‘Udta Punjab’, a multi-starrer flick starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh has faced controversies since its trailer launch. The movie centers on the issue of substance abuse in Punjab and has been in trouble with the Censor Board. After the board recommending several cuts, the filmmakers approached the reviewing committee and this committee aggravated the trouble for the filmmakers. The film’s producer, Anurag Kashyap, took to Twitter and shared his thoughts on it. The reviewing committee ordered to drop the word ‘Punjab’ from the title and they want the film not to be based on Punjab. A source said, “The makers haven’t decided the final date of release yet, but the film will now definitely be out sometime in July.” Troubled producer, Anurag Kashyap condemned the order and wrote, “I always wondered what it felt like to live in North Korea .. Ab to plane pakadney ki bhi zaroorat nahin.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
