Saturday, 11th June 2016, 11:15 AM IST After a long battle and many controversies, finally the film ‘Udta Punjab’ has been passed by the Bombay High Court with just one cut. The censor board of India had earlier demanded 89 cuts in the film and had also told the makers to drop the word Punjab from the title. However, none of that will be needed now. The court just asked the makers to remove the scene where Shahid Kapoor, who plays a drug addict rock star, is peeing on the crowd. Apart from that everything else is intact. ‘Udta Punjab’ stars Shahid, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. Earlier the movie was supposed to release on June 17, but now the release date is still ambiguous.
