Aishwarya Rai’s SARBJIT Screened At Tihar Jail

Tuesday, 7th June 2016, 03:00 PM IST Aishwarya Rai Bacchchan and Randeep Hooda starrer, ‘Sarbjit’ is being screened at the India’s biggest prison, Tihar Jail in Delhi. As per the norms, the inmates are allowed to watch a film after every five years. ‘Sarbjit’ has a connect with the jail system and is based on a true story of an Indian Farmer, illegally detained in a Pakistani jail. Several shows of the film will be screened till June 8. The first screening was on June 5. Producer Vashu Bhagnani said, “’Sarbjit’ is not just the story of a prisoner, it is also the story behind a prison cell number. It is as much the story of a family destroyed, the struggle of a sister.
