Thursday, 3rd July 2014, 04:10 PM IST The Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has made major plans to amass around 200 crore even before the release of his new film ‘Happy New Year’. SRK’s next home production ‘Happy New Year’ is gearing up for a big Diwali release, and news is that he has a big game plan to promote the film, and earn 200 crore even before his film hits the silver screens. King Khan is planning worldwide shows along with the film’s cast before its release. This will include Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani. Apparently, director Farah Khan will also join in. Preparations for the travelling mega show have already begun. The actors have also been asked to allot dates in August for rehearsals and this will be conducted in SRK’s office. All actors have already allotted dates for the shows that will be held in September and October. "The cast agreed to the arrangement as SRK will pay them over and above their acting fee. Around 140 professional dancers will also be hired. It's an ambitious venture which aims to be even bigger than the Temptations Reloaded concert tour,"says a source. The shows are set to be organised by the same company which put together ‘Temptations Reloaded’ in October 2013. The shows will be mainly held in SRK’s stronghold countries like the U.S, U.K and Canada. A few pit stops in other countries are also expected. Apparently, organisers in the US and Canada are cancelling local shows that were slated around the same time. The team will also be performing in India after the foreign tour. "There will be around 25-30 shows and each is expected to fetch SRK Rs 7 crore. Going by this calculation, they could add almost Rs 200 crore to the kitty even before the film opens in the theaters," says the source. |
