UNGLI Had Disastrous Week One
November proved to be a disastrous month at box office as one big film after another kept tanking at box office. This weekend Emraan Hashmi starrer ''Ungli'' released and it seems that trends of disaster films continues.
''Ungli'' opened in 1700 screens and film took very weak opening considering cast and production house. Though it was expected to a certain extent considering very poor promotion. Film took such a low opening that at places shows will be reduced from yesterday.
Film collected poor 3.60 cr nett on day one which is less than last week''s disaster ''Happy Ending'' and half of another flop of this month ''Kill Dil''. Film collected 4.15 cr nett on day two which was growth of 18% from day one but film needed 50% jump in order to have any chance at box office. Film further added 5.05 cr nett on Sunday which was again slim growth. Film further dropped on Monday and with 50% drop film collected 1.90 cr nett followed by 1.65 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.45 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.35 cr nett on Thursday.
Film was so poor in mass centers that there is almost no hope of revival from here. Film collected 19.15 cr nett in week one and less than 23 cr nett lifetime looks possible from here onwards. Disaster!
