UNGLI Grew Marginally On Day Two
November proved to be a disastrous month at box office as one big film after another kept tanking at box office. This weekend Emraan Hashmi starrer ''Ungli'' released and it seems that trends of disaster films continue.
''Ungli'' opened in 1700 screens and film took very weak opening considering cast and production house. Though it was expected to a certain extent considering very poor promotion. Film has taken such a low opening that at places shows will be reduced by Monday if not tomorrow.
Film collected poor 3.60 cr nett on day one which is less than last week''s disaster ''Happy Ending'' and half of another flop of this month ''Kill Dil''. Film collected 4.15 cr nett on day two which was growth of 18% from day one but film needed 50% jump in order to have any chance at box office.
Film is so poor in mass centers that there is almost no hope of revival from here. Film is looking at 12 cr nett weekend after 8 cr nett total after two days and less than 20 cr nett lifetime at best.
Below are the collections for the film -
