EarlierSajid Nadiadwala pointed to Ileana who played the lead role in original versionopposite to Ravi Teza, but Salman was keen to work with Deepika Padukone in thefilm. According to a insider report, Salman has repeatedly shown interest inworking with Deepika and the pair will surely look great.

DeepikaPadukone’s selection is probably due to the athlete background of theactress which will open up ways for some kick-ass stunts with the co-star andcan perform it more better than other actress can. Sajid was looking for apartner for Salman who can be feasible for the heavy duty martial arts and stunts.
