Tuesday, 28th March 2017, 3:30 PM IST Salman Khan’s Eid release ‘Tubelight’ has been one of the most-awaited films this year, and the latest news suggests that the music rights for this film have been sold at Rs. 20 crore. Amar Butala, the COO of Salman Khan Films said, "They (Sony Music) have acquired the rights. Nobody talks about prices now, so neither can we! I can't talk about it right now but yes we are working with Sony on ‘Tubelight’." Though Amar did not reveal the amount, rumours have it that the music rights have been acquired for a whopping Rs. 20 crore. Even if shelling out a huge amount for a Salman Khan-starrer isn't new, it does come as a surprise because the movie apparently has only 3 songs, which are mostly situational based.
