Detailed Analysis:
'Spark' is hitting the screens tomorrow and it seems an outdated drama. Film has rather complicated incomprehensible plot. Arjun (Rajneesh Duggal) lives with father like figure Dildaara (Ranjeet). Arjun does not know much about his real parents as Dildaara adopted him after Munnibai (can you believe this name!!) told Arjun while dieing that Arjun's real father left him with her. Local mafia Raghavendra Singh (Ashutosh Rana) is literally ruling the city. Raghavendra's nephew eve teases a girl from Arjun's college and obviously he beats shit out of two dozens henchmen. Raghavendra beats Arjun in order to take revenge and threatens Dildaara. Dildaara begs Arjun to leave city and Arjun left for Germany. Arjun meets Laila (Subhaashree Ganguly) in Germany and we come to know via one tacky flashback sequence that they almost fell in love in their first meeting in Mainpuri. There is parallel track which consists of politics. Baabulal (Govind Namdev) wants to become next 'Zila Parishad' Chairman but Raghavendra wants him to withdraw his name from election as he was servant of his father (also played by Ashutosh Rana). How suspense unravels about real parents of Arjun and how he takes revenge form the rest of the plot. Performance wise Rajnish Duggal is as expressive as wood. He is simply horrible after half a dozen films. Subhashree Ganguly looks decent but she has no idea about acting. Ashutosh Rana overacts and so does Govind Namdeo. Rati Agnihotri, Sanjay Mishra, Manoj Joshi and Ranjet do not know what were they doing in the film and rest of the supporting cast looks as clueless. Background music is intolerable and music/songs are weird, unintentionally funny. First song goes like 'Pallu sarak sarak jaye re' does not feature any 'paloo'. There is one item song 'Meri jawaani sode ki bottle' featuring Daisy Shah leaves you stunned in disbelief. One more weird song is 'Ishq Virus'. Script is so bad and wayward that even C grade regional cinema of 80's will look classic in comparison. Any subplot has nothing to do with main story line. Cinematography is only high point but editing is poor. Costume and art department are amateurish. Director V K Singh provides us some real unintentional funny moments. Sample few dialogues - 'Bina romance ke no bed scene' 'Hi cookie..v can make cookie together' and 'God ka haath, friends ka saath and life mein spark zaruri hai'. Humble request to director that its really tough to sit through this one and so please do not take pain to make another gem! Film will release tomorrow and should get at least 150 screens which will be more than enough for such film as there is zilch business potential. Film will be a washout at box office and even 20 lakhs nett day one will be a herculean task. .
