Thursday, 2nd Oct 2014, 9:00 AM IST Lara Dutta, who was planning to make a comeback with ‘Chalo China’, the sequel to her earlier production venture ‘Chalo Dilli’, will now return with a film produced by her tennis star husband, Mahesh Bhupathi.
The comedy of errors is titled ‘Abhi Nahi To Kabhi Nahi’, and revolves around a quirky Indian family. "Lara plays Pankaj Kapur's daughter, a well-to-do small town girl who runs a cafe. Her life turns topsy turvy when she falls in love with Kay Kay Menon's character, an aspiring hotelier," revealed an insider close to the production.
The source further informed that Lara was so impressed by the script that she instantly agreed to come on board. "It's Kay Kay's most romantic film yet and a perfect vehicle for the former Miss Universe to get back in Bollywood," opined the source.
The film will have an ensemble cast and negotiations are underway with several other actors.
‘Abhi Nahi To Kabhi Nahi’ co-produced by Mahesh Bhupathi and debutant producer Virender Arora goes on floors in December. It is expected to be shot extensively in North India. |
