Friday, 7th Nov 2014,2:37 PM IST This week two films have hit the screens – Randeep Hooda starrer ‘Rang Rasiya’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘The Shaukeens’. The makers of both the film had told the actors of the film not to talk about sex while promoting the movie. A source from the team of Ketan Mehta’s ‘Rang Rasiya’ said, “Randeep Hooda would constantly speak about the sex and nudity in the film. Somewhere the public’s perception of the film as a ‘bold’ erotic film was getting out of hand. Ketan Mehta had to speak to him personally to curb his tendency to speak of the film’s erotic content.” The same issue was with ‘The Shaukeens’. The movie has been branded a sex comedy because of its theme. “But it’s all very innocent. The three protagonists played by Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra are not lechers. They are just three over-the-hill guys looking for some excitement in their lives. And their biggest fantasy is to see Lisa Haydon in a bikini. There is nothing lecherous or sleazy about them,” said the source. Abhishek Sharma, director of ‘The Shaukeens’, said, “I haven’t made a ‘Grand Masti’.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here – Android:http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
