Saturday, 15th Nov 2014, 4:50 PM IST Rajkumar Hirani's ‘PK’ starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma almost took five years to be made. The reason behind the delay is the script and the title of the film. A source said that Hirani had written a story, but someone told him that it was similar to a Hollywood film. A source said, "He had narrated the story to someone close to him but that person pointed out that the script bore great resemblance to the English film. He binned it and reworked the script, changing the entire tone and angle." Even the title of the film had gone many changes. The source said, "It was initially called 'Ek Tha Talli' but was changed to just 'Talli' as around that time, Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' had released. Then it was renamed as 'Peekay' before Hirani decided to stick to 'PK'." The filmmaker's spokesperson confirmed the news and said, "We did toy with several titles before Raju Hirani decided on 'PK'. 'Ek Tha Talli' was one of the options." The spokesperson also added that that the movie won’t haveany anti-drinking warnings, despite of the title.
