CITYLIGHTS Is Heading For Poor End Of Run In 3rd Week
There was no buzz around ''Citylights'' except among niche trade and industry circles. Team of last year''s national award winning ''Shahid'' has delivered yet another critical acclaim film but film failed to get audience and money at ticket counters.
Film took a tepid start over weekend and collected poor 3.50 cr nett. Film had appreciation in metros though it never got translated in good numbers. Film finished week one with 5.50 cr nett number which was below par.
Film added 1.12 cr nett in 2nd week which was poor especially considering low week one numbers. Film dropped further in 3rd weekend and collected 10 lakhs. Film has collected 6.72 cr nett in 17 days and film is heading for under 7 cr nett lifetime finish which is below average.
