Anurag Kashyap To Make Next Film Based On Revolutionary Punjabi Poet Paash

Sunday, 5th January 01:30 PM IST Anurag Kashyap is busy planning his next release 'Ugly' and, of course, the shooting of his magnum opus 'Bombay Velvet'. He’s also appointed a creative team and signed a writer to research concept films. Several weeks ago, we had mentioned in this column that Kashyap was working on a biopic of Vashistha Narayan Singh, a celebrated mathematician. Now we hear he is working on another biopic and it’s about Paash, a revolutionary Indian poet. Paash was one of the key poets of the Naxalite movement in Punjabi literature and was killed by Khalistani terrorists. Kashyap along with writer Sanjay Chauhan is working on the project. Chauhan and his team of writers recently visited Punjab to do research on the poet. | ||||
