Well… well… It’s raining sequels. And why not? If it works at the ticket counter, go for it! Evidence of this successful trend is the business brought in by the 'Dhoom' sequel and, for that matter, 'Krrish'. So, no prizes for guessing that Yash Raj Films has decided to make a sequel to 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' under their banner Y Films.

The film, which released earlier this year, received very good reviews from critics as well as the audience. And it did brisk business at the box office too. Still riding high on its success, Yash Raj Films will title the sequel 'Meri Maruti'.

Although people close to the company have confirmed these plans, the director said she was unaware of these developments.
