Friday, 20th Mar 2015, 4:59 PM IST Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) seems to be playing it safe now. After the controversies that Aamir Khan starrer ‘PK’ had created, now CBFC has decided that movies related to religion will be certified only after all doubts are cleared. ‘Dharam Sankat Mein’ which is a religious satire was first shown to a Maulvi and a Pandit before certifying it. A source said, "‘Dharam Sankat Mein’ is the official remake of the 2010 British comedy ‘The Infidel’ directed by Josh Appignanesi. In the film Omid Djalili starred as a British Muslim who discovers he was born of Jew parentage. The role is played by Paresh Rawal in the remake." "We took the expert opinion of both the religious heads and then passed the film with a U certificate," added the source.
