Saturday, 21st Mar 2015, 3:43 PM IST Yesterday, we had reported that Paresh Rawal starrer ‘Dharam Sankat Mein’ was watched by a Maulvi and a Pandit as CBFC have come up with a rule that films which are related to religion will be first shown to the religious heads. The film has got a U/A certificate, but with two cuts. The Maulvi and Pandit told the makers to remove two scenes. It is said that in one of the scenes in the film Rawal will be seen spitting out cow’s urine and as cow’s urine is said to be a holy water Pandit told the makers to remove the scene. A source said, "He argued that cow urine is holy water and can't be spat out. Eventually, he got the scene deleted." Even the Maulvi asked for a cut. "He was offended by a suggested circumcision, and insisted on a cut." One of the producers of the film, Sajjad Chunawala said, "The [Board] chairperson, Pahlaj Nihalani, was extremely cooperative. Yes, there were religious heads at the screening who wanted us to make some changes. We've taken those bits out."
