Wednesday, 8th April 2015, 12:18 PM IST Music Composers: Dr. Zeus, Uzair Jaswal, Amaal Mallik, Tony Kakkar, Meet Bros Anjjan Lyricists: Kumaar, Manoj Muntashir, Tony Kakkar After the success of ‘Ragini MMS 2’ last year, Sunny Leone is all set to be back on screen with the film ‘Ek Paheli Leela’. The movie is directed by Bobby Khan and produced by Ahmed Khan and Bhushan Kumar. ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ will be releasing on 10th April and the music of the film is out now. The first track in the album is ‘Desi Look’. It’s a foot-tapping number based on the lines of ‘Baby Doll’ from ‘Ragini MMS 2’. However, this Dr. Zeus composition fails to recreate the magic of ‘Baby Doll’. Well, it’s not at all a bad number, but it is not as fantastic as ‘Baby Doll’. Kanika Kapoor’s voice is just perfect in the song. Ratings: 3/5 Moving forward we get the romantic song ‘Tere Bin Nahi Laage’ (Male Version). It’s a soulful romantic number which will surely make you feel the romance around you and will make you think about your loved one. Originally composed by Amaal Mallik, the track is beautifully recreated by Uzair Jaswal. Uzair has also sung the track wonderfully. There is also a female version of the track which is better than the male one. Tulsi Kumar’s voice in the song is awesome. Ratings: 3.5/5 The next song in the album is a foot-tapping funky number titled ‘Saiyyan Superstar’. The music of the song is something new. It has a traditional touch with modernized funky beats. Even the lyrics of the song will grab your attention. Amaal’s beats and Tulsi Kumar’s vocal make this track one of the best songs of the album. Ratings: 4/5 ‘Khuda Bhi’, the next song in the album is romantic song. Composed by Tony Kakkar, it’s a strictly okay track and fails to reach the level created by the previous romantic track ‘Tere Bin Nahi Laage’. Mohit Chauhan’s fantastic voice also fails to save the track. The track could have been better; it seems to be half-baked as something is missing in it. Ratings: 2/5 Moving forward we get the traditional track ‘Glamorous Akhiyaan’. It’s a Rajasthani folk song with a modernized touch in it. The song is good, but not great. Music composers Meet Bros Anjjan could have done a better work with this one. Vocals of Meet Bros Anjjan and Krishna Beura are fantastic in the track. Ratings: 2.5/5 Next comes in ‘Main Hoon Deewana Tera’. This song is a recreated version of Sonu Nigam’s track ‘Deewana’ (1999) and Meet Bros Anjjan has recreated it. The song is very well recreated and comes out to be better than the original one. Arijit Singh’s voice is top notch in the song and takes the track to a higher level. Ratings: 3.5/5 The next song in the album is ‘Dhol Baaje’. The song is composed by Meet Bros Anjjan and sung by Meet Bros Anjjan and Monali Thakur. It is said that the track has been recreated by Meet Bros Anjjan and was originally composed by Ismail Darbar. However, except from the hook phrase ‘Dhol Baaje’ everything in the track is new and that’s commendable. Music of Meet Bros Anjjan and Monali Thakur’s voice make this track an amazing hearing experience. It’s the best song in the album and you will surely start dancing while listening to this one. Ratings: 5/5 The last but not the least, we have ‘Ek Do Teen Chaar’, a peppy number fantastically composed by Tony Kakkar. The hook phrase will surely remind you of Madhuri Dixit’s famous track ‘Ek Do Teen’, but this one is totally different, but quite an entertaining track. The music has an electro touch to it and comes out to be an excellent disco kind of a track. Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar’s vocals do wonders for the track. Ratings: 4/5 On the whole, music of ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ is entertaining and will be joyride for a music lover. Ratings: 3.5/5 Music Review By –
