Wednesday, 15th April 2015, 5:36 PM IST Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming flick ‘Mr. X’ has got ‘U’ certificate from CBFC. The satellite rights of the movie which will be releasing on 17th April has been sold for Rs. 25 cr. A source said, "The channel has signed an agreement with the production house just before the film's release. Most of Emraan's films have adult content and many scenes had to be chopped off. So, the makers never really got a big amount for the satellite viewing." "After a couple of meetings between the channel and the production house, we were surprised to know that the former has agreed to pay such a hefty amount for an Emraan Hashmi film," a source close to the film said. Producer of the film, Mukesh Bhatt, confirmed the news and said, "Yes, this is the first time that we have got a huge amount for Emraan's film. It is a family entertainer. So we really did not have to make any cuts for television viewing." There were reports that an item song featuring Nora Fatehi was edit out from the film for the 'U' certificate. Apparently, the song had a lot of skin show. However, Bhatt denied the reports and said, "The song will be part of the film and doesn't involve any skin show."
