I LOVE NY Is Most Atrocious And Boring Film Of Recent Times
Pluses: Nothing Minuses:
Kangana Ranaut changes her looks in every 10 minutes, Sunny Deol is completely misfit in the role, pathetic writing, horrible editing, poor direction
Critic Rating: 0/5
Business Rating: 0.5/5
Verdict:
Watch it only if you are not fan of Sunny or Kangana
Detailed Analysis: Kangana Ranaut is undisputed queen of box office after some dream hits like 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns', and 'Queen'. So some not - so smart makers are trying to cash on that by releasing some shabby old films in order to cash on her popularity.
The film is set in New York though on screen it doe snot look like one as one can easily spots Thai signboards. If production design is so poor then think over writing acumen of writer-director pair. Sunny Deol get drunk and finds himself on couch of an unknown woman Kangana Ranaut. Tannishta Chatterjee loves Sunny and then there is one Navin Chaudhary who loves Kangana. This all immaterial stuff is followed by some real bad execution and you have a film which is as difficult to survive for audience as it might have been for Kangana! Performance wise Kangana Ranaut still manages some respectful scenes though overall she looks so inconsistent as her body shape to hairstyles keep changing. Sunny Deol is sleepwalking and has no clue what is going on. Watch out for scene when he takes out his trousers (ouch, stop imagining that!). Rest of the supporting cast Prem Chopra to Tannishta Chatterjee all look lost. Film has such a thin plot and screenplay disappoints big time especially the 2nd half. Dialogues are even worse. Film has uneven editing. Music is below par. Cinematography is pathetic and production design is poor.
Director duo Radhika - Vinay got second chance after giving flop to Salman with 'Lucky No Time For Love' and this time they have delivered really atrocious and one of the most boring films of our times. Film released yesterday and it is struggling due to unexciting promos and dry stale content. There is hardly any chance for film to survive.
Go for this one if you do not have even Super Mario to kill your time in your dated system! |
