Wednesday, 15th July 2015, 1:48 PM IST Few days ago, there were reports that Kareena Kapoor Khan has walked out of Raj Kumar Gupta’s ‘Section 84’. And now, the director himself has confirmed the news. Gupta said, "Yes, it's a mutual decision. Things didn't work out as planned." The movie revolved around Section 84 of the IPC which states, "Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, by reason of unsoundness of mind, is incapable of knowing the nature of the act, or that he is doing what is wrong or contrary to law." Talking about the film, earlier Gupta had said, "Yes. Section 84 is an integral part of the film and Kareena is my protagonist. It's a character with two sides. Trouble begins when she steps out of a mental asylum. The film is inspired by a real life incident. We start shooting in mid-April." However, the shoot was postponed to August. And now, the actress has decided to opt out of the film as she is not happy with the final script. And even Gupta took long to get another producer onboard after Salman Khan opted not to produce the film. Gupta said, "These speculations are absolutely untrue. Eros has been on board for some time. As for the script excuse, that is the most convenient route and I guess as old as cinema."
