PHANTOM Makers Worried About The Film’s Australia Premiere

Thursday, 27th Aug 2015, 6:46 PM IST Taking heed of the security concerns to the star cast, the makers of the film ‘Phantom’ want to keep the film’s premiere a low key affair. Confirming the same, a source said, “The film is slated to release this week and the premiere will take place at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. It is a big attraction, but the team has decided to be as low-key as possible since the film deals with terrorism and has been banned in Pakistan. They fear there might be security issues and to avoid unwanted attention, we will go on the day of the screening and return immediately.” There are talks about changes being made to the promotional plan, since the movie is based on a sensitive subject of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Another source has added, “Saif and Katrina will be there but we don’t know about other cast members. We have made proper security arrangements and have been given an assurance by the organisers too. It is not that we are being hush-hush about it, but we hardly had time to publicise it.” The spokesperson of the movie was unavailable for comment.
