Friday, 25th Sept 2015, 4:39 PM IST In 2001, Anubhav Sinha made his directorial debut with 'Tum Bin'. And now, after 14 years he will be collaborating with Bhushan Kumar for the sequel of the film. Five years ago, Bhushan called Anubhav and gave him an ultimatum. Anubhav said, "He told me that if I was not interested in scripting ‘Tum Bin 2’, he'd go ahead and make it with some other director. I kept telling him that I didn't have a love story in mind, but he presumed that after directing ‘Dus’ and ‘Ra.One’, I was chasing bigger films." Last year, when he got a story about love, lust and loss, he went to Bhushan and narrated the story. After forty minutes, Bhushan handed 11 rupees to Anubhav and sealed the deal. The shooting of the sequel will start in January and it will be shot in Europe. "We're going back to making love in the snow. There will be tears, laughter and melody,” the director said. In ‘Tum Bin’, Jagjit Singh's ghazal 'Koi Fariyaad' had become very famous. "If Jagjitji were alive, I'd definitely have convinced him to come on board again because this score will be even more tragic," he said. Anubhav’s last directorial was Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Ra.One’. "I took a break because I didn't have a story. Now I'm back to make everybody cry," he said. ‘Tum Bin’ starred Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Himanshu Malik and Rakesh Bapat. However, none of the actors will be seen in the sequel.
