By Nikhil Bisoi - May 22, 2019 We recently got an opportunity to interview Disha Patani, who was last seen in 'Baaghi 2' and now is currently promoting her upcoming movie 'Bharat' which also stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. When asked about the training that she had to go through Disha replied, “I began to train properly, 2 months before the shooting of the film started. It was vigorous and in fact scarier because unlike routine training there was a lot of pressure and stress because I had already committed to giving my best to the role. I broke my knee one week before the shoot began. I was in bed rest for one week. It felt really tough initially. But now I feel, it was all worth it.” Everyone appreciated her beautiful appearance in the film after the screening. While talking about her looks in the movie she said, “The credit goes to the stylist Ashley sir and Ali sir. They had it all in their head and the output came out nice according to what they wanted.” On working with Salman Khan she said, “I was excited and it was a good opportunity. I don’t know if I might get it again. There is an age gap but the fact that he has been shown young in the film was very fascinating. He is a very nice person and so much down to earth. Because of working with such an experienced artist, I learned a lot. The song “Slow motion” got a lot of attention all over social media. Commenting on that she said, “It feels good. I love massy songs and being a huge fan of item numbers, it was very exciting for me to dance on my first item song. Having Salman Khan in the song along with was the cherry on the cake. The choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant is amazing at her work and everything we are doing in the song, she has really made it beautiful.” On being asked whether she was worried that she may get a shorter screen time because the film already had Katrina and Salman in the leads, she said, “Ali sir had already told me that it’s a special appearance. However, I am very happy to be a part of such a great cast like Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Sunil Grover. It’s a great opportunity and I didn’t take it as a competition. We are all in the same industry and we should always help each other to grow and it always feels great to work with such good people.” She also hinted about her next South Indian project. If everything works well, we would soon be seeing her working again for Tollywood. Produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan, Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Nikhil Namit, 'Bharat' is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is all set to release on 5th June 2019.
