Tuesday, 17th June 2014, 04:10 PM IST Since Ashutosh Gowariker’s previous two films (‘What's Your Raashee’ and ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se’) did badly because of the music, the director has gone back to A.R. Rahman to do the music for his upcoming film ‘Mohenjo-Daro’. Rahman had previously rendered superhit soundtracks for Gowariker’s films ‘Lagaan’, ‘Swades’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’. Even though Sohail Sen did his best for ‘What’sYour Raashee’ and ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se’, Rahman’s presence was sorely missed in the film. "Ashu met Rahman Sir recently. They both missed one another when they didn't work together. In fact Ashu very desperately wanted Rahman for ‘What's Your Raashee’ after ‘Jodhaa Akbar’. But Rahman was busy with his international projects. And Raashee required a dozen songs. After waiting for months for Rahman Sir to give his nod, Ashu went and signed Sohail Sen for it and for the film after that,"says a source.
