She said, “He was highly influenced by Raj Kapoor’s romance and music. Adi says ‘DDLJ’ was actually influenced Raj Kapoor, then Manoj Kumar—for his patriotism that we heard in the song ‘Ghar aaja pardesi tera des bulaye re’ in ‘DDLJ’.
