Wednesday, 18th Mar 2015, 11:59 AM IST Music Composers: Yo Yo Honey Singh, Dr. Zeus, Indeep Bakshi, TigerStyle, Jatinder Shah, Meet Bros Anjjan, Millind Gaba Lyricist: Alfaaz, Zora Randhawa, Manvi Bains, Indeep Bakshi, Bunty Bains, Kumaar, Millind Gaba ‘Dilliwali Zaalim Girlfriend’ which stars Divyendu Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Prachi Mishra and Ira Dubey will be releasing on coming Friday (20th March). The music of the film is out now, so let’s see what’s there in store. The album starts with the track ‘Birthday Bash’ composed and sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh. There’s nothing new in the track and it is like a regular Honey Singh stuff. The rapper should really try something new now as we are tired of same kind of music from him in every film. Ratings: 2/5 Next song in the album is ‘Tipsy Hogai’. Music director Dr. Zeus has tried to make a song on the lines of the song ‘Baby Doll’, but he fails to reach the level of Sunny Leone’s track. Miss Pooja and Rajveer Singh’s vocals are good here. Ratings: 2.5/5 Moving forward comes in the track titled ‘Zaalim Dilli’. It’s a nice peppy number with high-on-energy beats. It’s a perfect number to do some hip-hop steps. Jazzy B and Hard Kaur’s vocals are amazing in the song. Ratings: 3/5 After three dance numbers, now here’s the romantic song ‘Tere Liya’. It’s a sweet track, but doesn’t really make us feel the pain of the character. The lyrics is good, but Indeep Bakshi’s voice fails to impress us. However, the only saving factor of the track is Soni B’s beautiful voice. This song surely could have been better. Ratings: 1.5/5 Next comes in ‘Janib’, once again a romantic track. But, this one is really a beautiful romantic number. The music is amazing and refreshing. After not so good songs, finally ‘Janib’ comes in and impresses us a lot. Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chuahan’s vocals take the song to a higher level. There is also a female version of the song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and it superb. Ratings: 4/5 ‘Meri Marzi Teri Raza’, the next song in the album, is once again a romantic track surprisingly composed by Meet Bros Anjjan. The music composers have till date composed some nice foot-tapping number, but this time they have tried something new and succeed very well. The lyrics of the song written by Kumaar is also very good. K Mohan has sung the track very well. Ratings: 3.5/5 Moving forward we get a peppy song ‘Saddi Dilli’. It’s a strictly okay song with a North Indian touch. Millind Gaba’s voice is nice in the track. The lyrics very well explains the environment of Dilli. Ratings: 2/5 The last song in the album is ‘Maa De Dandeya’. It’s really a boring number and tests our patience. Jassi Katyal’s voice irritates us. It’s really bad to see the way religion is mixed with a song and the outcome is so horrible. Ratings: 0.5/5 On the whole, music of ‘Dilliwali Zaalim Girlfriend’ fails to impress us, except the romantic tracks.
