Tuesday, 23rd Dec 2014,1:02 PM IST Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Madamji’ was all set to start rolling in November, but then it was postponed to mid-December, and now, once again the shoot of the film has been postponed to April 2015. The reason for delay is PeeCee’s other film ‘Bajirao Mastani’. A source said, “The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ dates spilled over to December, which in turn had a domino effect on ‘Madamji’. Now, when she is finally done with her portions of the SLB film, she has a commitment in the US. She has signed a TV deal with a major American network and will spend about two months there.” Another source said that Priyanka, who is also the producer of ‘Madamji’, wanted to start the shoot of the film with a brief schedule, but Madhur Bhandarkar, the director of the film wants a start-to-finish schedule. The source said, “It's a drama high on emotions as it is a story of a woman who goes from being an item girl to a top politician. Madhur insisted on shooting the film without breaks to ensure that the character's journey is not disrupted.” Talking about ‘BM’, the source said, “About three songs will be shot sometime next year. The rest of the shoot will happen outdoors, where she (Priyanka) is not required. By April, ‘Madamji’ should go on floors in what will be a start-to-finish schedule as Madhur wants.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android:http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS:bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
